Curious about microgreens? Join Delta Informal Gardeners on Monday, October 26, for an evening with Johnny Vilalo of SHE Urban Farms. We’ll explore these little greens, learn how he grows them, and meet fellow gardeners.
Meet Johnny Vilalo
If you visit the Brentwood Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, you may recognize Johnny and his microgreens.
At our October meeting, Johnny will introduce us to microgreens—what they are, their nutritional benefits, and how he grows them at SHE Urban Farms. Whether you’re interested in growing something new or simply curious about what you’ve seen at the market, this is an opportunity to learn directly from a local grower.
About SHE Urban Farms
SHE Urban Farms is a woman-owned company with more than 20 years of horticultural experience. Its approach is hands-on: each tray is sown, watered, harvested, and packaged by hand.
Johnny will also have products available for purchase if you’d like to take something home.
